Healthy Boozing

Oh what a wonderful, magnificent and delusional world I live in. Where I believe in things like Healthy Boozing and that Mojitos = Liquid Salad. I will not try to sell you my silly, crack pipe dream, only share how awesomely enjoyable it is for me.

I walk through the farmers market grabbing everything that looks yummy strawberries, oranges, apples, mango, pineapple, lemon, lime, papaya. Then I grab a lil of the not so yummy stuff kale, celery, spinach, cucumbers, etc. I really don’t like the taste of celery so I try to go easy on that.
This is a weekend batch to goes OH SO WELL with some rum, every now & then I even throw a couple veggies in!
I don’t have a juicer, I use my kick ass, karate chopping Ninja Blender. I let it blend for several minutes and the end result is a very fine mixture. When I’m mixing up a batch for my alcohol I strain it, thick drinks and booze aren’t that great together.  But I also drink my crazy concoctions on the way to work in the mornings (no time to make breakfast) and for those batches I leave the pulp in, its slightly more filling than just drinking juice alone. 
When adding veggies to my alcohol concoction I blend them separately so that when I strain them I can put the pulp in a plastic bag & stick it in the freezer to be used at a later date (perfect for soup).

And that Ladies and Gentlemen is what I like to call Healthy Boozing!!!
Does my liver agree? Probably not, but haters gone' hate.

But before I go, I shall leave you with my favorite morning brew... Pineapple, orange, kale & spinach Deeeeelish!!!
