Falcons vs. Saints

My daughter asked me “What’s so important about the Falcons vs Saints game? It’s no different than any other team we play”  Oh my sweet sweet child, how do I answer this question?  The Saints are like that family member that you love to hate, the one that you flush the toilet when they are in the shower.  The best way for me to relate this to her is Army vs Navy.  My brother graduated from USMA @ West Point & when we were there everywhere you looked you saw GO ARMY BEAY NAVY. On the milk cartons, on the ketchup, in the halls, on the floor, shirts, key chains, EVERYWHERE!!!  365 days a year GO ARMY BEAY NAVY!!!
Because of Hurricane Katrina I have a ton of friends from & in New Orleans that I would have never met otherwise.  So secretly I love those Blockhead Saints but still GO FALCONS!!!  I ran into a lot of Saints fans at the pep rally @ city hall, on the marta train, tailgate’n b4 the game & during the game & I just wanna say… You can’t take those mofo’s anywhere, No Behavior!!!  I had an awesome Atlanta Falcons Day regardless *keep hope alive*

The dome was insane in di membrane

Santa Gyals Gone Wild in ATL

*Note* we live for a reason to get dressed up!!!  What awesome compadre's I have, they embrace all my insane ideas & even turn it up a notch.  This weekend we had our mini santa crawl & oh my what great fun it was.  Who knows, we just might pull out the costumes on Christmas day being that most of us will be together on Christmas anyway.  We have a long tradition of getting together on the holidays since most of us are transplants with little or no family here.  All I can say is stayed tuned cause after playing Rock Band/Guitar Hero/Band Hero all day... we might dont make it

I whip my santa sleeve back & forth!!! I whip my santa sleeve back & forth!!!

Shout out to one of my besties that relocated to DC (had to include a Christmas 2009 shot of her)

18th Annual Atlanta Santa Pub Crawl

Saturday was a crazy hectic day, but I just had to set aside an hour to stop by the 18th Annual Atlanta Santa Pub Crawl.  I didn’t get to go in my Miss Claus costume because I was on a wicked schedule that left no time for wardrobe changes.  This is my 4th year pit stopping through to en joy all the festive partiers who put aside jackets, scarves & gloves in the name of Ho Ho Ho’n.  They are truly the inspiration for my mini Miss Claus crawl in which I convince my friends to forget its -13 degrees outside, put on something festive and party like a rebel without a cause.  This year I was inspired to make my own costume, oddly enough when I saw a big ass stocking in the store & I thought to myself “hmm that would make a cute outfit”  So ima leave you with some pix from the amazingly awesome 18th Annual Atlanta Santa Pub Crawl & a sneak peak of my costume (final version to be revealed soon).
Reminds me of the year I had the ninja halloween costume... no drinking for Gumby :-( unless he has velcro lips

:-( at my favorite crew being blurry... too much going on
